A Tezukayama coffee shop serving espresso and lattes, 5 varieties of doughnut and banana bread, with terrace seating.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
One memorable way to enjoy a visit is to pair an espresso with a chocolate cookie. A visitor described the deep flavour of the espresso alongside a crisp cookie with buttery, chocolatey notes. The espresso is a small 20–30cc serving, and the menu recommends adding sugar and drinking it in one go. Choose espresso when you want to focus on the coffee, or a long black or batch brew when you would rather take your time.
For something sweet, there is banana bread with caramel and walnuts, which the menu suggests warming slightly. Some regular visitors pair it with iced coffee. Lattes are available hot or iced, and you can request soy or oat milk instead of dairy milk. For a light meal, try the tuna melt, filled with tuna, cheese and cucumber, which is also available as a half portion.
There is seating indoors as well as on the terrace, where dogs are welcome. Chevron Coffee Roasters in Tezukayama also offers doughnuts and a lemon-scented butter cake, making it easy to add a small sweet treat to your coffee.
